The Department of Aging & Adult Services offers the Senior Training & Employment Program which part time on the job training to qualified persons.  To qualify you must be at least 55 years old, unemployed, a resident of San Bernardino County, and meet federal low income guidelines.

What we offer....

• Assessment to determine your present skill level and types of occupations for which you would like to train.

• Workshops to teach you the best methods for searching out, finding, applying, interviewing and getting the right job.

• On the job training with government and non-profit agencies for twenty hours per week at the minimum wage.

• Referrals for additional classroom training if appropriate.

• Occupational training to help you acquire new job skills or upgrade the ones you have.

• Referrals to other employment and training programs.

• Referrals to other senior and social programs to help you in other aspects of your life.
